The Claude desktop app signed in to your own Claude plan, a computer that is usually on with the app open in the morning, about 30 minutes for the setup conversation, and 3 to 5 samples of your own writing so the engine can learn your voice. One honest cost note: the engine's first working session, where it builds and checks its work plan, uses a good part of a day's Claude plan. After that it settles into roughly two short scheduled sessions a day plus your morning chat.
